Membership will be open to all members of the public who are interested in photography. The committee reserve the right to cancel or refuse membership.

Subscription to the Camera Club will be agreed each year at the AGM and shall be inclusive of Associate membership of Kinson Community Association.

The committee shall consist of Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Competition Secretary, Treasurer, Programme Secretary, SAPA Representative, immediate retiring Chair person (if Applicable), and four members, to be elected at the AGM. At committee Meetings five shall form a Quoram.

All Officers and Committee Members are eligible for re-election each year except chairperson who shall not be eligible for that office in two consecutive years. (Unless no other nomination is accepted).

The Camera Club shall meet each Monday at 7.45pm or on other evenings as decided upon.

‘Special Meeetings’ may be convened by requisition signed by at least 60% of club members, stating the purpose of the meeting, and submitted to the secretary at least fourteen days before the proposed meeting date

A member may be expelled for inappropriate conduct or by majority vote at a special meeting convened for that purpose.

All members must complete and sign an application form and abide by the Club Rules Stated therein

No alteration of, or addition to, the Club Rules shall be made, except at the AGM or a special meeting convened for that purpose in accordance with Rule No 6

Competition Rules shall be the responsibility of the Committee, but no change in the competition rules will take place without members being informed on two consecutive meeting night, in order that Rule 6 may be invoked if considered necessary, to ascertain the feeling of the membership.

Any proposals for the AGM or Special Meetings must be given to the secretary in writing two weeks prior to the meeting.

Images of Models taken within the Club may not be used outside without the express permission of the committee.
